We have five male and eight female finalists for the BlueStreak-Ruden Report Players of the Week.
The votes will run until noon on Thursday. The winners will receive our Player of the Week T-shirts.
Here are the male finalists:
Jim Evans, St. Joseph Baseball. Evans went 7 for 12 with 11 RBIs, seven runs scored, one double, three triples and a home run in three wins.
Tyler Herget, Darien Volleyball. Herget finished with 13 kills, 11 service points, 14 digs, 6 aces and 3 assists in a 3-1 win over Shelton.
Reid Kagan, Ridgefield Lacrosse. Kagan scored 5 goals in a 13-8 win over Greenwich.
Nico Kydes, Stamford Baseball. Kydes went 6 for 13, with a double, triple, home run, 6 RBIs and reached base on 10 of 17 plate appearances.
TJ Wainwright, Westhill Baseball. Wainwright went 6 for 14, with five doubles, four runs scored and 8 RBIs.
Here are the female finalists:
Dina DiBlasio, Norwalk Softball. DiBlasio hit two home runs, including a grand slam, and drove in six runs in a 9-5 win over Wilton.
Maya Farrell, Wilton Softball. Farrell went 8 for 15 with a double, three triples and 8 RBIs.
Keira Grant, Trumbull Lacrosse. Grant finished with 5 goals and 5 assists in a 19-7 win over Shelton.
Ashley Humphrey, Darien Lacrosse. Humphrey finished with 5 goals and 1 assist in a 21-6 win over Ridgefield.
Lily Ivanovich, St. Joseph Lacrosse. Ivanovich finished with 4 goals and 3 assists in a 19-2 win over Stamford.
Gillian Kane, New Canaan Softball. Kane went 7 for 10, with two triples, a home run, four runs scored, 6 RBIs walked five times and struck out 47 batters in 27 innings.
Libby McKenna, Fairfield Warde Lacrosse. McKenna scored 5 goals and added 4 assists in a 12-7 win over Conard.
Caitlin Slaminko, Ridgefield Lacrosse. Slaminko finished with 5 goals and 3 assists in a 17-12 win over John Jay (NY).
