Vote For The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Players Of The Week

We have seven male and seven female finalists for The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Player of the Week votes.

The votes will run until noon on Thursday. The winners will receive our Player of the Week T-shirts.

Here are the male finalists:

Mike Boyian, Norwalk Baseball. Boyian was the winning pitcher and finished with two doubles and three RBIs in a 13-3 win over Trinity Catholic.

David Collazo, Stamford Baseball. Collazo finished with six hits, two home runs, five RBIs, five runs and three stolen bases in two wins.

Ray Dearth, Ridgefield Lacrosse. Dearth finished with four goals and two assists in a 12-4 win over Duxbury (MA).

Christian Hardiman, Fairfield Warde Baseball. Hardiman had three hits, including a game-winning three-run homer, and drove in four runs in a 13-12 win over St. Joseph.

Javon Hernandez, Danbury Baseball. Hernandez, the Hatters’ leadoff hitter, reached base 10 straight times over two wins.

Brian Howell, Fairfield Ludlowe Baseball. Howell had three hits, including a walkoff single, and drove in three runs in a 6-5, 8-inning win over Trumbull

Quintin O’Connell, New Canaan Lacrosse. O’Connell scored five goals and added an assist in a 12-4 win over St. Joseph.

 

Here are the female finalists:

Skylar Arent, Ridgefield Softball. Arent went 4-for-5 with a two-run home run and four RBIs in a 15-8 win over Greenwich.

Allison Clark, Fairfield Ludlowe Softball. Clark went 5-for-6, with a home run, five RBIs and six runs scored in two wins.

Kara Fahey, New Canaan Softball. Fahey went 6-for-10, with a grand slam, eight RBIs, six runs scored and three walks in three games.

Abby Hogan, Stamford Softball. Hogan went 9-for-12 (5-for-5 in one game), with a home run, two doubles, nine RBIs and six runs scored in three games.

Charlee Horton, St. Joseph Softball. Horton hit two homers and drove in five runs in an 8-0 win over Greenwich.

Caroline Krueger, Darien Softball. Krueger batted .500, with a grand slam, two doubles and six RBIs in two wins.

Julia Skillin, Wilton Lacrosse. Skillin finished with four goals and five assists in a 17-7 win over Greenwich.
