Vote For The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Players Of The Week

 

We have seven male and seven female finalists for The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Players of the Week vote.

The votes will run until noon on Thursday. The winners will receive our Player of the Week T-shirts.

Here are the male finalists:

Will Bothwell, Darien Football. Bothwell led a defensive effort that shut down No. 1 St. Joseph in a 22-7 win.

Malachi Hopkins, Danbury FootballHopkins ran 16 times for 184 yards and two scores and threw for 67 yards and a touchdown in a 52-20 win over Westhill.

Brian Howell, Fairfield Ludlowe Football. Howell rushed for 154 yards and three touchdowns, had four catches for 41 yards, two completions for 75 yards and four tackles in a 43-42 win over Norwalk.

Kenly Lalanne, Stamford Soccer. Lalanne scored three goals in a 3-2 win over New Canaan.

Lucas Montero, Fairfield Warde Soccer. Montero scored four goals in a 6-1 win over Bridgeport Central.

Quintin O’Connell, New Canaan Football. O’Connell finished with nine catches for 175 yards and scored five touchdowns in a 48-7 win over Trumbull.

Tyler Previte, Wilton Football. Previte rushed for 100 yards, scored three times and had two interceptions, one returned for a score, in a 47-28 win over Fairfield Warde.

 

Here are the female finalists:

Meredith Clifford, Ridgefield Soccer. Clifford, a freshman, scored both goals in a 2-0 win over Fairfield Ludlowe.

Marissa Healy, Staples Swimming. Healy had four first-place finishes in a win over Trumbull and three in a loss to New Canaan.

Emma Rothkopf, Wilton Field Hockey. Rothkopf scored three goals, including the winner in overtime, to lead a 4-3 win over Ridgefield.

Julia Salvatore, New Canaan Volleyball. Salvatore finished with 15 kills and 27 digs in a 3-2 win over Danbury.

Lily Traum, Fairfield Ludlowe Volleyball. Traum had 27 assists and three kills in a 3-1 win over Greenwich.

Shea van den Broek, Darien Field Hockey. van den Broek scored nine goals in wins over St. Joseph and Stamford.

Alessandra Zaffina, Trumbull Cross Country. Zaffina took first place as the Eagles defeated Staples, Fairfield Warde and Stamford.
