We have six male and six female finalists for The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Player of the Week votes.
The votes will run until noon on Thursday. The winners will receive our Player of the Week T-shirts.
Here are the male finalists:
Denali Burton, Danbury Basketball. Burton scored 17 points in a win over St. Joseph.
Justin Forde, Brien McMahon Track. Forde had a distance of 51-0 in the triple jump at the VA Showcase, putting him No. 1 in the country.
James St. Pierre, Ridgefield Basketball. St. Pierre scored 30 points in a win over Greenwich.
Jack Massey, Darien Hockey. Massey scored in overtime to give the Blue Wave a 4-3 win over Fairfield Prep.
Joel Satir, Greenwich Swimming. Satir won the diving with a score of 275.60 in a win over Fairfield Prep.
Andrew Smith, Wilton Basketball. Smith made four 3-pointers and scored 20 points in a win over Fairfield Warde.
Here are the female finalists:
Abby Carter, Staples Basketball. Carter made four 3-pointers and scored 16 points in a win over Greenwich.
Jess Eccleston, New Canaan Hockey. Eccleston finished with three goals and an assist in a 7-0 win over Stamford.
Kelsey Fedorko, Greenwich Gymnastics. Fedorko won the all-around with a score of 36.0 in a meet against Fairfield Ludlowe and Fairfield Warde.
Kristina Krasniqi, Fairfield Warde Basketball. Krasniqi finished with 18 points, 10 steals, eight rebounds, five assists and two blocks in a win over Westhill and 14 points, nine rebounds, eight steals, four assists and three blocks in a win over Wilton.
Megan Landsiedel, Stamford Basketball. Landsiedel finished with 54 points, 13 rebounds, 13 steals and five assists in three wins, hitting a 3-point shot at the end of the first overtime in a double-overtime victory against Darien.
Merritt Stevenson, Trumbull Gymnastics. Stevenson won the all-around with a score of 35.65 in a meet against Staples.
