We have eight male finalists for The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Player of the Week vote. The polls close at noon on Thursday. The winner will receive a POTW T-shirt.
Here are the finalists:
James Bourque, Fairfield Ludlowe Football. Bourque’s 29-yard run gave the Falcons a 34-33 win over Fairfield Warde.
Jack Feda, Greenwich Football. Feda had an interception, fumble recovery and was part of a defense that shut out Staples. 29-0.
Lenny Garcia, Stamford Football. Garcia ran for two touchdowns in a 19-0 win over Westhill.
Dan Moroney, Ridgefield Football. Moroney scored the deciding touchdown in a 19-12 win over Danbury.
Kyle Phillips, Wilton Football. Phillips rushed for 307 yards and scored three touchdowns in a 40-18 win over Trinity Catholic.
David Summers, St. Joseph Football. Summers threw for three touchdowns and ran for another in a 42-6 win over Trumbull.
Jack Stewart, New Canaan Football. Stewart was a dominating presence on both lines in a 17-14 win over Darien.
Jakari Walker, Norwalk Football. Walker scored twice, including the game-winning score in a 35-27 decision over Brien McMahon.
