One of the most unique and surprising streaks continued today with the Ridgefield football team’s 21-6 win over Wilton.

The Tigers are now 21-0-1 in the series during the last 22 meetings, spanning 25 years.

Trailing 7-0, the Warriors’ Kyle Phillips scored on a 3-yard run early in the fourth quarter. Their bid to take the lead with a two-point conversion was denied.

The Tigers (3-3) answered with quarterback Owen Mathews throwing a 26-yard touchdown pass to Gianni Gorham. Jack Englert closed out the scoring with just over one minute left.
