Greenwich’s Cardinal Crazies finished first in the voting portion, was second in the video competition and is a first-time winner in the 7th annual Ruden Report Fan Showdown, presented by Splash Car Wash.
Ridgefield, which was second in the voting competition and tied for third in the video competition, came in second place.
The Greenwich athletic department will receive $500, courtesy of Splash Car Wash.
Trumbull finished with 9 points, 2.5 ahead of Ridgefield, which finished second with 6.5. Westhill was third with 6, followed by Wilton (5.5) and Trumbull (2).

In a very close video competition, Westhill won with one first and two second-place votes. Greenwich was second, by just a half-point, with one first-place vote and two ties for third-place. Ridgefield (one second, one third and one third-place split) and Wilton (one first place and one split of third place) tied for third.
Westhill earned 5 points in the video competition, followed by Greenwich (4), Ridgefield and Wilton (2.5 each). Those were added to the points in the voting competition: Greenwich (5), Ridgefield (4), Wilton (3), Trumbull (2) and Westhill (1).

Most of all, thanks to all the schools that competed. It was a lot of fun and it added further evidence that there is a lot of loyal school spirit in the FCIAC, not to mention many talented and creative videographers.
