The Connecticut High School Football Alliance, formed to help state schools fill byes with teams of comparable ability from across the state, has added the FCIAC as well as the CCC, and today announced the pairing and scheduling of games.
The alliance scheduled games the previous two years with schools from the SCC, SWC and ECC.
In all there will be 84 schools taking part in 99 games. Seventeen games will include FCIAC schools.
The matchups were determined and the schedules set by conference commissioners.
“The FCIAC is looking forward to the opportunity to compete against out of league opponents during the upcoming 2019 football season,” FCIAC commissioner Dave Schulz said in a release by the alliance.

Week 2 (Sept. 20): Southington at Darien, New Britain at Staples, Notre Dame-West Haven at St. Joseph
Week 3 (Sept. 27): Cheshire at Fairfield Warde, Fairfield Prep at Fairfield Ludlowe, McMahon at Wilbur Cross
Week 6 (Oct. 18): Staples at North Haven, Brien McMahon at Amity, St. Joseph at Fairfield Prep, Daniel Hand at Norwalk
Week 7 (Oct. 25): New Milford at Fairfield Warde, Danbury at Newtown, Wilton at Bunnell
Week 8 (Nov. 1): Bridgeport Central at Bassick
