Fairfield Warde’s Sean Conway, who is averaging 32 points a game, was voted the FCIAC boys basketball Player of the Year.
Conway headlines an eight-player first team that includes Trinity Catholic’s Contavio Dutreil and Dimitry Moise, Ridgefield’s Brenden McNamara, Danbury’s Jordan Brown, Stamford’s Tevin St. John, Norwalk’s Tyrique Langley and Trumbull’s Timmond Williams.
For those of us who were disappointed by the regular season and were hoping the FCIAC Boys Basketball Tournament would bring us a level of compensation, Saturday’s quarterfinals were overall a disappointment. Danbury and Bridgeport Central put on a good show for almost three quarters. The game between Trumbull and Fairfield Warde was pretty good.
